Hatters on verge of relegation from Premier League

Luton Town are on the brink of relegation from the Premier League after slumping to a 3-1 defeat at West Ham.

The Hatters, who had defender Reece Burke sent off in the second half, remain bottom of the table and seven points from safety with just three games remaining.

West Ham, meanwhile, moved up to 15th place and all but secured their top-flight status for another season.

Michail Antonio gave the Hammers an early lead, but Luton equalised through Harry Cornick.

However, goals from Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen earned West Ham a deserved victory.

Luton boss Nathan Jones made four changes to the side that lost 2-1 at home to Burnley last weekend, with Burke, Allan Campbell, Carlton Morris and Amari'i Bell coming into the starting XI.

West Ham boss David Moyes made three changes to the team that beat Aston Villa 4-1 on Sunday, with Benrahma, Bowen and Gianluca Scamacca replacing Pablo Fornals, Lucas Paqueta and Danny Ings.
